The wall brackets always lose stability when you increase the distance from the wall, the stability of the ceiling brackets remains the same and the rod does not hang down.
The curtain rod Sont-20 is a complete curtain system for mounting on the ceiling. All parts are made of stainless steel V2A. The tube diameter is 20mm. The tube lengths are possible from 100 to 260 cm in one piece, from 280 to 400 cm divided or in one piece. Lengths of up to 600 cm in one piece are also possible on request. Fastening: The scope of delivery includes the Sont-20 ceiling supports with base plate and fastening material. End pieces: You can order the rod with different end pieces, you can simply choose any end piece from the range. Curtain attachment: If you are using loop curtains or curtains with eyelets, please order the rod without the rings. If you want to use a curtain with curtain tape, you can order the right number of curtain rings.

You can place the ceiling brackets on the curtain rail absolutely freely. First attach the base plate to the ceiling with bolts. You can either fasten the base plate and bolts with a screw-on plate or screw them on directly with Spax screws. Then slide the carrier onto the stud and tighten the carrier grub screw (not too tight). Then insert the rod into the carrier openings and fix them with carrier clamping screws.
Of course it is also possible to extend the ceiling support (optional). You will find a 50mm standard extension for the Sont 20 carrier system with the individual curtain rod parts. You connect the extension and the carrier with an adapter. It is also possible to connect several extensions with each other and thus enable the desired distance to the ceiling. We can also make special lengths of extensions, just ask.
