2-track curtain rod Universal-20 with brackets for the ceiling, different end pieces with or without rings

If mounting on the wall is not desired or is not possible, you can also attach a double-barreled curtain rod to the ceiling.
An advantage of the ceiling mount is the possibility to allow any distance from the wall to the curtain. This could be necessary, for example, to cover a particularly deep window sill or a radiator with curtains. A glass front up to the ceiling or a roller shutter box can also be a hindrance with a classic wall mounting of the rods.
In addition, the wall brackets always lose stability when you increase the distance from the wall, while the stability of the ceiling brackets remains constant and the rod does not hang down.
The curtain rod Universal 20 2-track is a complete curtain system for ceiling mounting. All parts are made of stainless steel V2A. The tube diameter is 20mm. The tube lengths are possible from 100 to 260 cm in one piece, from 280 to 400 cm divided or in one piece. Lengths of up to 600 cm are also available in one piece on request. Fastening: The Universal-20 brackets including fastening material are included in the scope of delivery. End pieces: You can order the pole with different end pieces (for each run), simply select any end piece from the range for the first and second run.
Curtain attachment: If you are using loop or eyelet curtains, please order the rods without the rings. If you want to use a curtain with curtain tape, you can order the right number of curtain rings.

Order correct rod length

Ordered length is the tube length without end pieces.
*If desired, please enter the number in cm in the field "cut by:" and we will cut the tubes to the right length for you. For example: If you need the pipes of exactly 194cm, then please select under "pipe length"-200cm and enter the number "6 cm" in the field "shorten by:". If we should only shorten one of the two barrels, then write, for example, " only shorten one of the two barrels". Pipe sections are not included.
* Parcel service shipping: The tubes are divided in the middle from a length of more than 260cm. The connection adapters are included. A support is to be attached to the connection point.
* Freight forwarding: The tubes (up to 400cm) are delivered in one piece.
* Curtain rods 400-600cm - price on request.

Ceiling mount for double curtain rods: System Universal-20

You can place the brackets on the curtain rod absolutely freely. First attach the bases to the ceiling. You can either mount the base with a screw-on plate or screw it on directly from the inside with a Spax screw. Then slide the support bar into the base and tighten the base grub screw (not too tight). Then insert the tubes into the carrier openings and fix them with the carrier grub screws. You can adjust the height of the support in the base by approx. 20mm and thus align the curtain rod absolutely horizontally on the ceiling.
You can choose the following strap lengths when ordering: 5cm, 15cm, 30cm and 45cm. If you want a smaller distance from the pole to the ceiling, it is possible to shorten the support pole with a hacksaw to allow for the desired ceiling distance. The minimum possible distance is approx. 50mm.

Also suitable for round inner runner profiles with a diameter of 20mm

You can also mount the carrier with openings facing down. You can use this mounting variant, for example, to attach a rod with an inner race to the ceiling together with a stainless steel tube. This guarantees an all-round trouble-free path for the curtain in the inner run. Of course you can use the inside running bars in both runs.

We also offer a solution for fastening curtain rods to the sloping roof or wall.

If you want to attach the double-barreled universal curtain rod to the slope, please simply use a bay joint for 10mm pipes. Please screw this joint to one side of the carrier foot, push the other side into the base and fix it with a base grub screw. So you can easily mount the ceiling bracket on the roof or wall slope at any angle.

Universal-20 double-barreled ceiling mount: All mounting options

Use 20mm diameter inner barrel rods in both barrels or combine a 20mm inner barrel profile and 20mm diameter stainless steel tube or just use 20mm round barrels for the first and second barrel.

Combination ceiling and wall mounting

There are situations where a double-barreled curtain rod needs to be mounted on the ceiling and on the wall. In this case, you can combine our double-track wall mounts with double-track ceiling mounts. All of our 2-track wall brackets for 20mm pipes are fully compatible with the Universal-20 ceiling bracket.
